Dr. Avery performs comprehensive vision examinations and treats medical diseases of the eye such as glaucoma.  He also manages patients with diabetes and macular degeneration. 

Dr. Avery has training in Low Vision Rehabilitation.  He also is experienced in the fitting of therapeutic contact lenses for injured corneas, keratoconus,  and irregular corneal grafts.

 

Dr. Avery has participated in clinical research that has provided valuable insights in the treatment of dry eye and ocular surface disease.
