Our Offices are Closing

After a long and distinguished career, Dr. Lonsdale is retiring and Central Maine Eye Care is closing.  At this time, we are no longer able to schedule any patient appointments.

Patients can request and pick up medical records at our Russell Street location through June 2nd, 2025 until 12:00 pm.  After June 2nd, records may be requested by telephone by dialing 207-784-1814 and selecting Option 7.  This telephone line will be available until July 28th, 2025.  Further direction for medical record requests from Tenet Health Care, owner of Central Maine Eye Care, will be provided after that date.

Dr. Avery plans to resume practice in the area when he has established a new practice.  When a date has been set for his opening, this site will be updated and patient scheduling will resume.  Dr. Frank also plans to continue to practice in the area.

 

If you are experiencing an eye health problem while we are closed, we recommend calling Riverside Eye Center at 207-786-2500, call your Primary Care Physician, or visit an Urgent Care Center. ​​
